“A valuable resource in keeping me focused on building my coaching practice and improving my skills. Every week Janet brings freshness, her seasoned perspective, her upbeat, positive nature and excellent role modeling of all the coaching skills …. As group members, we've formed friendships that help sustain us in this new adventure of coaching.” Janet Karzmark, California |
Working with a certified coach in a limited group setting of your peers, you will be able to crystalize your ideas and take action toward building your coaching dream. The group is not intended to replace working with your own coach individually, but will complement this relationship by giving you a source of community, ideas, resources and learning to accelerate your progress.
The SYFF program has a dual focus for the most rapid learning possible. One focus will be on developing the confidence and identity of each participant as a coach. The second focus will be on the development of each person’s coaching business.
“When I finished my Foundations class I felt inspired and excited about the possibility of coaching. But I wasn't able to really take it to the next level. I didn't realize how much I needed to learn about setting up a business. Janet has shared a lot of knowledge ;but more importantly she has a quality of coaching that lets you feel comfortable about asking "the stupid questions". I'm starting to feel it is going to be possible to set up a coaching practice..” Louise Cohen, Schaumburg, Illinois |
Each group is individually structured based upon the experience of the group members. Content of each group session will be determined by the needs of the group. Participants will be screened to identify areas of individual need; this information will be used to direct the course of the group coaching.
Topics likely to be covered in a SYFF group include -
- attracting clients
- building confidence
- growing a website
- coach certification
- niche development
- relationships with clients
- ICF core competencies
- passive income products
- marketing attitudes and fears
- business planning
“When our class finished, I was very pleased that Janet Slack offered an ongoing Group for those interested in help in launching our coaching careers. That group provided just what I needed to keep up the momentum after the class ended. Even though I didn't know anyone in this group, Janet's warm, welcoming approach made me feel comfortable right from the outset. Janet always asks what each participant needs and then proceeds to keep us on track in a very gentle, effective way. I think new coaches can greatly benefit by participating in a group of Janet's. I know I have.” Nancy Fightlin, Connecticut |
